Today we did athletics it was fun. my strongest events are long jump and sprints. I came 3rd in 200m and I got in the top 10 for high jump. I suck at shotput and high jump. vortex throw was easy. the best part of the day was the juicies. and writing this is the worst part. all my muscles hurt and I wanna go to sleep.

Red pupils ocurr when using the flash while taking a photo. flash photography the light of the flash occurs too fast for the pupil to close, so much of the very bright light from the flash passes into the eye through the pupil, reflects off the back of the eyeball and out through the pupil.

week 9

I've learnt how to play Em and G on the guitar. 

I learnt how to make a hat out of flax.

I learnt how to make a lay.

I've learnt that it's easier to think of things to write on your blog when you make notes when you've learnt something. 

I learnt that nz isn't that hot compared to rarotonga.

I learnt that there's no need to have a fear of planes.

My new learning week 7

I have learnt that Hillary house is named after Sir Edmond Hillary.
I've  learnt how to use blogger properly
i've learnt how to play G on guitar
i've learnt how to read numbers up to trillions. 

Ive learnt to name vegetables in maori. A heki is an egg. I've also learnt that there are some very weird animals out there like there is one that is called an assassin bug.

I have learnt to not add too much detail in my writing because it confuses the story sometimes. I have learnt that when you're writing you have to stay in one tense. I have been writing about a boy being chased by a dog.
I have also learnt to times 3 digit numbers in maths by using a table. I go to extension maths. I find extension maths hard but good - it's challenging me.
I wish I could do more art and technology at school. I am in the epro8 team tonight!!

week 4

Our class has been learning about sign language. I can sign the alphabet and my name. 

I have learnt how to multiply 2 digit numbers e.g 53 x 67.  I have learnt to round the first number to the closet 10 instead of using place value multiplication.

I have learnt how to use a drill, laser cutter and a drop saw and I have now learnt to make a keyring out of plastic in hard materials.

I have learnt to add more detail to my writing.
